What Has Happened So Far
Thanks to many supporters, we were able to overcome the first major hurdle:
The down payment and acquisition costs were borne collectively.
We are deeply grateful for this.
This step did not just initiate a formal process – it opened the path in reality.
The key was handed over.
And with that, a new phase began.
Since then, we have been on site, clearing up, surveying, organising and getting to know the place in its substance and atmosphere. At the same time, the second phase of financing has begun: the shared task of raising the remaining funds to complete the acquisition.
This moment marks a transition –
from vision to concrete responsibility.
From idea to a real, shapeable place.
What Happens Next
Ownership Structure
Our concern is a long-term non-profit solution in which land is removed from the speculative market. We are examining models in cooperation with the Trias Foundation or the Grund-Stiftung as well as the founding of a cooperative or association as an operating organisation – on a non-profit basis.
Transparency, responsibility and reliability are essential to us.
The Building
The listed 333-year-old building from 1693 is architecturally unique. We want to further develop this powerful place with respect. There is no time pressure. The use may unfold organically.
In the long term, we see here a place where people work, research, learn and celebrate – a place where peaceful coexistence is taken for granted.
